Calling all streamers, this one’s for you…!
We’re incredibly excited to announce the release of Pulse v1.12. This one is focused on making it easier to share your epic session with the world.
As athletes ourselves, we understand that capturing your epic rides, runs, and jumps is not so much about the content as it is about your experience in the moment.
We know that you put your heart and soul into every moment out there and we want to make it easy for you to share those experiences with the world. With our completely redesigned content upload experience, you can easily upload your footage from your GoPro without any hassle, allowing you to focus on properly savouring your post-session stoke.
With the improved video picker, improved uploading screen, and the ability to upload in the background while browsing Pulse, you can seamlessly share your story and inspire others to get out there and do the same.
We’ve also launched Pulse Streamer Lab, a growing library of resources to all things streaming, GoPro, and more. Streamer Lab is accessible from the app and from our website (pulse.tv)
Let’s take a look at the new streaming flow.
“Pulse's Create tab was designed to make the streaming front and centre, while offering helpful tips and tricks to take your streams to the next level! 🔥" Jackie Zhang, Product Design Lead at Pulse.
To give the Create section a strong foundation for the future, we’ve given it its own dedicated home. This area will be the start of any streamer journey from uploading to learning.
Improved video picker.
We’ve reworked the layout of the video picker to help you find the videos you’re looking for.

A much improved uploader
We’ve given you a better overview of what’s going on during the all important optimise and upload step.
Background uploading 🙌
For the first time, we’re also introducing background upload. Once the optimise and upload process has begun, you can now continue to use Pulse. Is there a better way to spend your time while your’e uploading your stream? We think not!
We love to hear your feedback and ideas. Hit us up at email@example.com.
As always, you can find the latest version of Pulse app in the App Store 🙌
